Make Vancouver a Blue Community!

March 2, 2020

Next week Vancouver City Council will debate a motion proposing to make Vancouver a Blue Community.

Major cities around the world have become Blue Communities, committing to recognize water and sanitation as human rights, ban or phase-out the sale of bottled water in municipal facilities and at municipal events, and promote publicly financed, owned and operated water and wastewater services. These are meaningful steps toward protecting our water resources for the needs of the public.

The agenda and speaker sign-up for the March 10 meeting of Council will be posted HERE closer to the date.

Please consider writing to Mayor and Council, sending a letter to the editor, or signing up to speak in support of this important motion!
