Agreement Reached at Hotel Georgia!

November 19, 2019

The VDLC congratulates UNITE HERE! Local 40 members at Hotel Georgia on achieving a new collective agreement, which was ratified in a vote yesterday.

Hotel workers in downtown Vancouver led an inspiring strike over the past several weeks, using the power of solidarity and movement building to achieve historic new collective agreements which deliver substantial improvements in safety, wages, hours, and more. We are proud to have stood alongside these workers and glad to finally see agreements reached at all of the hotels.
