Agreements Reached at Three Vancouver Hotels

On October 15 UNITE HERE! Local 40 announced that tentative agreements had been reached at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver, Westin Bayshore, Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront.
We heard the inspiring report back of UNITE HERE! members at our regular meeting that same night. We congratulate Local 40 on this tremendous win. Solidarity and movement building combined with the unwavering and energetic action of hotel workers and their allies to bring about this historic win. Now only the Hotel Georgia remains without a tentative agreement, and we remain in solidarity with the union in their efforts to bring that fight to a just conclusion.
