Day of Action in Solidarity with IBEW 213 Members on Strike
On March 19 the Vancouver and District Labour Council and New Westminster and District Labour Council will join with IBEW 213 in a day of action in solidarity with Ledcor LTS workers who continue to stand firm for fairness.
IBEW Local 213 members employed at Ledcor LTS have been on strike for a fair first collective agreement since September 30, 2019.
Please join us by participating in one or more of these opportunities to express your support:
– A small delegation will attend the Vancouver picket line at 10:30AM for a physically distanced rally with picketers. Mask wearing is required. The picket line is located at 1055 West Hastings Street, Vancouver (Ledcor offices).
Speakers will include BC Federation of Labour President Laird Cronk, New Westminster and District Labour Council Secretary-Treasurer Janet Andrews, Vancouver and District Labour Council President Stephen von Sychowski, and more (tba).
– Drive by and honk for fairness, between 10:30am and 12:00pm.
