Delivering Community Power

February 17, 2021

The VDLC is proud to continue to support the Delivering Community Power campaign.

Founded by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, Acorn Canada, The Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association, The Leap, and Friends of Public Services, and with a broad array of coalition partners, Delivering Community Power proposes to utilize our public postal service to help drive a just recovery, and a transition to a new green economy.

The three main policy proposals of the campaign are:

  • Postal banking that invests in our communities,
  • Door-to-door delivery of mail, medicines, groceries, and more,
  • Climate friendly delivery anywhere in Canada.

Visit the Delivering Community Power website to send a message to your MP in support of the campaign.
