Ensure the Equitable Application of Public Health Protections

April 9, 2020

The VDLC continues to support the implementation of safe supply in order to save lives and help address the public health crisis caused by poisoned illicit drugs.

We have signed onto an open letter to Premier Horgan and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Henry titled “Urgent action required to ensure the equitable application of public health protections to vulnerable British Columbians.” The letter, which is also endorsed by numerous unions and other organizations, calls for a number of measures to ensure that safe supply is implemented in a way that helps those most at risk in this crisis.
