April Regular Meeting
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM PST
The next regular meeting of the VDLC will be held on Tuesday, April 16th, at 7:00PM. This meeting will be hybrid – with the option to attend in-person at the Maritime Labour Centre, or via Zoom.
Guest speaker will be Warren Williams, President CUPE Local 15, on the top of anti-racism and the labour movement.
**A delegate orientation session will be provided starting at 6:00PM at the Maritime Labour Centre for any delegates who wish to attend.**
Please register by April 11th. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Please note that to receive the Zoom login information for the meeting you must register. If you do not receive the Zoom link, please check your spam folder. If you cannot locate the link, contact office@vdlc.ca for assistance in advance of the meeting date.
Please note that only duly appointed and sworn-in delegates have vote at VDLC meeting. Further, only delegates, and invited guest speakers, have voice unless otherwise granted by a unanimous vote of delegates present. In order to ensure the respectful and timely conduct of labour council business, these rules will be strictly applied.
