The VDLC is re-constituting its Municipal Affairs & Housing Committee.
This will be a space for delegates and members of affiliates unions to come together and engage around local issues, including housing affordability and tenants rights amongst others. The committee will be a place for discussion, planning and taking action, and making recommendations to the labour council. It is a separate space from the Political Action Committee, which remains an affiliate-appointed body for the setting of political strategy, recommendation of candidate endorsements, and so forth.
