					<description><![CDATA[<p>Later this month City of Vancouver staff will report back to City Council on their work to develop regulatory options to implement vacancy control in Single Room Occupancy (SRO) buildings. The VDLC supports the adoption of vacancy control generally, and has support its implementation as a measure to protect tenants and preserve affordability in SRO&#8217;s since last Fall.
