The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is on Friday, December 6, 2019. 

On December 6, 1989, 13 female students and a female administrator at L’Ecole Polytechnic in Montreal were murdered because they were women. Thirty years on, this day is about remembering the victims of December 6, 1989 and is also a time of action.

It starts with respect and creating a culture of respect.

Cedar Building Courtyard, Kwantlen College Surrey Campus, Kwantlen Faculty Association

Vigil at Thornton Park by the train station at 4:30 PM
1166 Main St. Vancouver
Indigenous and Faith groups will be present.
