Possible SkyTrain Strike

December 9, 2019

UPDATE: A tentative agreement was reached between CUPE 7000 and SkyTrain early on December 10, thereby averting impending strike action.

As of 4:30AM on Tuesday, December 10, members of Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 7000 may be on strike for a fair collective agreement. At stake are fair wages, forced overtime, staffing levels, trades adjustment language, and more.

The VDLC stand in solidarity with CUPE 7000 and calls for support in the event of a strike.
