Protecting YVR Workers During the COVID-19 Pandemic

April 8, 2020

The VDLC’s YVR Joint Union Committee met on April 2 to discuss the response of affiliated unions to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following that meeting, we sent a letter to the Vancouver Airport Authority c/o it’s Chair, Craig Richmond asking for a number of measures to protect YVR workers. The JUC will continue to work on ways to support workers at the airport throughout the duration of the pandemic.
