Stop Sexual Violence in the Hospitality Industry

On July 23rd UNITE HERE Local 40 will be holding a rally and press conference at Vancouver City Hall to demand action to stop sexual violence in the hospitality industry.
The VDLC supports UNITE HERE Local 40. No worker should face harassment or violence, sexual or otherwise, on the job. We thank Councilor Boyle and Councilor Swanson for bringing forward a motion related to this and encourage Vancouver City Council to adopt it unanimously.
