Support CUPE 15 Members at Vancouver Art Gallery

January 31, 2019

Vancouver Art Gallery workers, represented by CUPE 15, will be in a strike position by Monday, February 4.  It is not yet determined whether a strike, or other job action, will take place.

After working without a new contract since 2017, and following more than 8-months at the table, Vancouver Art Gallery workers have served strike notice.

In the meantime, CUPE 15 is asking supporters, especially those who are VAG members, to write to the employer to drop its concessionary demands on sick pay and overtime, and negotiate a fair collective agreement with the union.

Please send an email to Director Kathleen Bartels at kbartels@vanartgallery.bc.ca. For those not wishing to email, letters can be sent to Director Bartels at Vancouver Art Gallery, 750 Hornby Street, Vancouver, BC, V6Z 2H7.
