Huge congratulations to Lucy Maloney on last night’s victory! OneCity ran an impressive, principled, progressive campaign. We know Lucy will be a strong voice for working people in Vancouver, and we look forward to working with her.

Congratulations to Annette Reilly on a strong campaign, coming a respectable fourth place amongst thirteen candidates. Annette ran for a city that lifts people up-not pushes them out, and we look forward to continuing to work with the Green Party of Vancouver toward that and many other progressive goals.

And congratulations as well to Sean Orr of COPE on his election to city council. The election of two progressive opposition candidates is a clear repudiation of the direction of the current ABC majority. On October 17th, 2026, we’ll elect a new pro-worker, progressive majority!
