October 16, 2019

The Vancouver and District Labour Council is pleased to announce that we are once again offering a scholarship for the CLC Harrison Winter School. The funding source is the VDLC’s Anita Yan Memorial Labour Law program.

This VDLC Scholarship covers the full $980.00 registration (including shared room accommodation and meals), plus up to $1,000.00 for wage replacement, if required, to ensure time off work. Please note that leave of absence arrangements are the responsibility of the individual and their union.

The application deadline is 10:00 a.m. on November 9, 2018.

The successful candidate will be contacted within five days of the closing date. If there is no suitable candidate the award will be retained for the 2020 Winter School Session.

For more information, please contact the VDLC at office@vdlc.ca or 604-254-0703.
