VDLC Welcomes Three New Affiliations

The VDLC started the new year off by welcoming the affiliation of three new union locals at our January regular meeting. The new affiliates to the VDLC are:
Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 2010 – representing municipal wastewater treatment, water management, garage, and recreation maintenance in Whistler and Pemberton.
Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 3338 – representing workers in a variety of roles across Simon Fraser University campuses.
International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 1286 – representing fire fighters in the City of Richmond.
These locals join over 90 affiliated local unions representing approximately 60,000 union members in the VDLC. Welcome!
