VDLC Welcomes Two New Affiliates!

The VDLC is pleased to welcome two new affiliations this month!

Hospital Employees’ Union, St. James Local, represents workers employed in supportive housing, mental health & addictions services in the Downtown Eastside.

International Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees, Local 891, represents professional artists & technicians employed in the film industry.

We’re so excited to have these two unions join our Labour Council. Along with three new affiliations last month, this makes a total of five additional locals joining the VDLC already in 2026!
