Women’s Committee 2019 CLC Winter School Scholarship

The Women’s Committee of the VDLC is once again offering a scholarship to Harrison Winter School for a VDLC delegate who identifies as a woman for a course that is designed to build leadership skills and knowledge among women labour activists.  

This VDLC Women’s Scholarship covers the full $980.00 registration (including shared room accommodation and meals), plus up to $1,000.00 for wage replacement, if required, to ensure time off work.  Please note that leave of absence arrangements are the responsibility of the individual and their union.

The application deadline is 10:00 a.m. on November 9, 2018.

The successful candidate will be contacted within five days of the closing date.  If there is no suitable candidate the award will be retained until 2020.

Please note that the VDLC is also offering a scholarship that is open to all delegates that has a different application form.
