Young Workers Committee Back in Action

November 10, 2020

Since September, we have been convening meetings of young workers to discuss the prospect of re-launching the VDLC Young Workers Committee.

Although the Committee has been a long-time fixture of the Labour Council, it recently became inactive. Now it’s back in action once again with a new cohort of young activists ready to hit the ground running.

At a meeting on November 10th, the committee elected a new Chairperson and Co-Chairperson to lead its work. Another meeting is being planned for later this month. If you are interested in getting involved – email office@vdlc.ca or call 604-254-0703 to be put in touch with the committee.
