					<description><![CDATA[<p>Workers facing job losses at Hanjin Shipyards in the Philippines are continuing to be denied their entitlements, as the employer attempt to cajole them into signing &#8220;voluntary resignation&#8221; letters which exempt them from separation pay entitlements.&#160; VDLC continues to support Hanjin workers and their union, SAMAHAN, part of Workers for People&#8217;s Liberation, which we work in solidarity with through our adopt an organizer program. We have written to Secretary Silvestre Bello at the Department of Labour and Employment to support the union&#8217;s demands. </p>
