					<description><![CDATA[<p>Vancouver Art Gallery workers, represented by CUPE 15,&#160;will be in a strike position by Monday, February 4.&#160; It is not yet determined whether a&#160;strike, or&#160;other job&#160;action, will take place. After working without a new contract since 2017, and following more than 8-months at the table,&#160;Vancouver Art Gallery workers&#160;have served strike notice.&#160; In the meantime, CUPE 15 is asking supporters, especially those who are VAG members, to write to the employer to drop its concessionary demands on sick pay and overtime,&#160;and negotiate a fair collective agreement with the union.
